What a sports shake up in the Lou! Albert leaving for California? My heavens, what is the world coming to? The Cards go from being a so-so team, to winning the World Series! Yeah, go rally squirrel, that was awesome. Now the team superstar is an Angel. I myself feel no animosity toward Albert. He gave us many years of wonderful baseball. I would have loved to have seen him coach on some level when he was through and then retire as a Cardinal. But since he feels the need to move on, I am okay with that too. We still have David Freese anyway!
The poor Rams are getting hammered. Hard to believe a team that can go from bad to worse. It is even ruining our quarterback, who was an all-star college player. Tonight our own player knocked over another one of our own players, resulting in a lost touch down. Ouch! I can’t believe they have not fired the coach before now. Again, I have nothing against the man, but watching him coach this team is like watching a train wreck. Ugh! He needs to be replaced with someone who can at least drive this team to a win. The only good thing about all of these losses is the first round draft pick we will get.
As for the Blues, well we got off to a rough start. But once the coach was replaced, all we have been doing is winning. Not matter how fun that is to see, it would be a wonderful miracle if the Blues could bring home a Stanley cup!
