Bebe 2

With Bebe settled in her new home, we began to get to know each other. The girls were completely in love, as was I. Such a social dog! She loved to meet and greet with people and would wiggle out of the fence to head down to the subdivision pool, just so she could mingle with the crowds! Once we figured out how to plug up all the low spots in the fence, we worked on some other training. Blessedly, she was house trained, so we had no problems with that. She was a little hyper and would run in circles around the great room, up the couch and around again. Hysterical! She loves to eat and begs like a champ. She would “assume” the position (still does), with big brown eyes shining love at you, head tilted and ears eagerly cocked forward. Who can resist? And this dog can SMILE. Huge ear to ear smiles that reach her eyes.

Bebe has had her share of troubles. Her begging has added much weight through the years and her tiny legs holding up her fat body are very arthritic. At times we have had to carry her outside to go to the bathroom (as she is still politely housetrained). Since we have added glucosamine to her diet, she has been much better!

Being the friendliest dog in town, Bebe has accepted her beagle sister Sadie and kitty sister with open arms. The more the merrier. To Bebe her only burning question is, “When is the next party, and what’s being served?”!
